 Beth Soholt Executive Director, Wind on the Wires As Executive
Director of Wind on the Wires, Beth Soholt brings more than 15
years experience working with the electric industry in various capacities. At
WOW she directs work in the areas of technical/transmission planning, state
regulatory proceedings, legislative education and outreach. She holds a seat on
the Midwest Independent System Operator (MISO) Advisory Committee representing
the Environmental Sector. She was also selected as one of three NGO
representatives on the Stakeholder Steering Committee of the Eastern
Interconnection Planning Collaborative.
Beth holds a law
degree from Hamline University Law School, St. Paul, Minnesota, and a Bachelor
of Arts degree from Luther College, Decorah, Iowa.

 Kevin BorgiaManager, Public Policy and Membership
 Kevin Borgia Manager, Public Policy and Membership 773-878-WIND (9463) Kevin
Borgia is Manager of Public Policy and Membership for Wind on the Wires. He plays a key role in advancing policies
critical to the wind industry in Illinois and provides WOW with additional
ability to focus on membership development.
Kevin has experience in
wind power policy at the state and federal level. He was Co-Founder and
Executive Director of the Illinois Wind Energy Association (IWEA), which merged
with WOW in 2012. He secured significant state policy victories for wind energy
in Illinois, including new tax incentives and stable tax structures for wind
development, improved power markets for renewables under the Illinois Power
Agency, new loan guarantees for renewables, and better permitting regulations
for wind farms in the state. IWEA merged into WOW in late 2011. His previous
work included serving as editor of the federal energy and environmental policy
newsletters, "Energy Washington" and "Inside EPA."
 Sean BradyRegional Policy Manager - East
 Sean Brady Regional Policy Manager - East 312-867-0609 Sean Brady is the
Regional Policy Manager for states in the eastern footprint of the Midwest ISO,
for Wind on the Wires.
Sean specializes in utility regulatory analysis on
state and federal issues. With over 11
years experience in the utility industry he has worked at the Illinois Commerce
Commission as a staff attorney in the General Counsel’s office and as a senior
policy advisor to Commissioner’s Lieberman and Elliott. At Wind on the Wires he manages policy and
advocacy before state regulatory and legislative bodies for Michigan, Indiana,
Illinois and Missouri.
Sean earned his
law degree from IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law, his Master of Public
Administration degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago, his Bachelor of
Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois,
Champaign-Urbana and is a licensed attorney and professional engineer in the
State of Illinois.
 Linda BrewsterOffice Manager
 Linda Brewster Office Manager 651-644-3400 As
Office Manager at Wind on the Wires, Linda Brewster is responsible for Administrative
Operations and oversees accounting, human resources, and vendor relations. She joined WOW in 2005 and brings more than 20
years of administrative experience to the organization.
Linda holds a Bachelor of Science in Business
Administration from Metropolitan State University and a Clerical Certificate
from Anoka Hennepin Technical College.
 Natalie McIntireTechnical/Policy Consultant
 Natalie McIntire Technical/Policy Consultant 608-637-8019 Natalie McIntire is an independent consultant
working on high voltage transmission policy for renewable energy. Ms. McIntire currently acts as a consultant
to the American Wind Energy Association and Wind on the Wires. Most recently she has been focused on
interconnection queue reform, cost allocation, and Order 1000 reforms.
Prior
to this, Natalie worked as a Senior Policy Associate for the Renewable
Northwest Project in Portland, OR. In
that position, she worked on transmission and green power policy in the
Northwest, acted as a member of the Green-e Board, and was an appointed member
of the Oregon Public Utilities Commission Portfolio Options Committee.
Natalie
has a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute, a M.A. degree in the History of Science and Technology from the
University of Minnesota, and a graduate certificate in Applied Energy Economics
and Policy from the Portland State University, Oregon.
 Joseph SullivanRegional Policy Manager - West
 Joseph Sullivan Regional Policy Manager - West 651-644-3400 Joe Sullivan is a Regional Policy Manager - West, covering the states of Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin in advancing policies for wind power, transmission, and other related issues.
Joe spent six and a half years working as a senior
attorney and lead energy lobbyist at Flaherty & Hood P.A. in St. Paul,
Minn. Joe represented a municipal power agency and greater Minnesota
cities on energy issues. Joe’s work includes experience on renewable energy,
transmission, state conservation goals, greenhouse gas reduction initiatives,
net metering and Community-Based Energy Development (C-BED) issues. He’s also
represented Minnesota cities on nuclear waste issues and an electric rate case.
Additionally, Joe has worked extensively with coalitions, particularly the
Coalition of Utility Cities, on utility taxation issues.
Prior to joining Flaherty & Hood, Joe worked in Milwaukee,
Wisc., Sioux Falls, S.D., and Washington, DC (IRS and US House Committee on Science).
Joe holds degrees from Marquette University and University of
Wisconsin Law School.
 Kelley WelfCommunications Manager
 Kelley Welf Communications Manager 651-644-3400 Kelley Welf
is the Communications Manager for Wind on the Wires. Her responsibilities
include developing and managing the
monthly member e-newsletter, overseeing the website redesign and upgrade, facilitating
media requests and interviews, and directing other communications initiatives
that further the organization’s mission.
Previously, Kelley was the Director
of Communications at the Lindbergh Foundation, where she was responsible for marketing,
public relations/media and communications activities. While there, she wrote
about technically complex/environmentally oriented grant projects, managed the
foundation’s website, developed an annual communications plan, wrote the
e-newsletter, created marketing collateral, employed social media, worked with
radio, TV and the press, and managed all aspects of the foundation’s annual
gala and other special events. She lives in Andover (a Twin Cities suburb) and
hosted “Andover Update” on QCTV.
Kelley holds a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Augsburg College in Minneapolis.
 Christopher Zumski FinkePolicy Associate
 Christopher Zumski Finke Policy Associate 651-644-3400 Christopher Zumski Finke joined Wind on the Wires as a Policy
Associate in March of 2011. At Wind on the Wires, Chris focuses on policy,
technical and regulatory issues relating to wind energy and transmission
throughout the Midwest. Previously, he worked with the Missoula Institute of
Sustainable Transportation, in Missoula, Montana. Before moving to Montana,
Chris taught college English courses in literature, writing and rhetoric in
Chicago, IL and Minneapolis, MN.
Chris studied Environmental
Studies at the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana, where he worked
on energy and environmental policy and climate change solutions, with research
focused on Midwestern energy and climate initiatives. He received a Masters in Literature at DePaul
University in Chicago, Illinois, and a Bachelor of Arts in Writing and
Literature at Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
