Mobilizing advocates to support renewable energy

Your Voice Matters!

The squeaky wheel gets the grease.  The job of our elected officials is to represent you -- and your interests -- when making policy decisions.  When legislators, commissioners, and other decision makers hear directly from their constituents, particularly businesses, they listen.

That's why Your Voice Matters! And, that's why it is so important to be involved in the political process by contacting your legislators about renewable energy issues that matter to you or your business.

There are lots of ways to advocate.
  • Personal meetings with elected officials to discuss how policies affect you or your business

  • Send an email

  • Submit Letters to the Editor to your local newspaper
  • Become an advocate for wind energy by joining the American Wind Energy Association's Power of Wind advocacy network.
