A lively crowd of students and clean energy advocates from around the state rallied at the Minnesota State Capitol on Earth Day, April 22, to encourage legislators to advance legislation that will create jobs for Minnesotans and generate clean, local, renewable energy. A crowd of roughly 350 people enjoyed an incredible evening at the Holiday Inn Merchandise Mart on a date that will occur only once in a century – 12/12/12.

Jun. 12, 2012Beth Soholt Keynote Speaker at WOWE Annual Luncheon

On Wednesday, June 6, Beth Soholt gave the keynote address at the 2012 Women of Wind Energy Annual Luncheon.  As is the custom, the previous Woman of the Year recipient gives the keynote address the following year.

Beth delighted the audience with stories and photos from her youth growing up in Iowa and the people who encouraged her and gave her advice along the way.
